Transcript [00:00] Hey everyone, there was a really [00:01] important event that took place at the [00:03] United Nations today uh where and and I [00:06] want to watch it. It's a it's just a [00:08] short press conference and uh I I would [00:12] like to watch that press conference [00:14] because I think the information that is [00:16] shared there is information we should [00:17] all know. We should all be aware of it. [00:19] We're every single person watching this [00:21] channel is also having conversations [00:22] with people about this war, about Iran, [00:25] about what's you know what the you know [00:28] what's at stake and the justifications [00:30] for this war and uh and therefore I [00:34] think it's really important that that we [00:35] see this and it's just an important [00:37] story that needs to be told. Ambassador [00:39] Danny Danon, that's Israel's ambassador [00:42] to the United Nations, hosted four [00:44] Iranian women at the UN today, including [00:46] a young Iranian woman who lost her eye [00:48] after being shot by Iranian regime [00:50] forces. So, it was this was an event [00:53] held to at the UN to mark International [00:55] Women's Day. And again, Israel's [00:57] ambassador to the UN [01:00] u decided to have a press conference [01:02] highlighting the persecution of women in [01:05] the Iranian regime. So, that's what [01:06] we're going to watch. And then when [01:08] we're done, I'll have a few things to [01:09] say about it. Now, before we get to that [01:11] though, I just want to highlight once [01:12] again the Israel 365 charity uh uh [01:16] special campaign, emergency campaign, [01:18] Israel under fire. Uh the proceeds of [01:21] this uh of what's being raised here all [01:23] go to families who are suffering because [01:26] of the attacks from Iran. Uh since this [01:29] war started, there's been a lot of [01:30] damage to a lot of homes. There's been [01:32] people who are injured, people who are [01:33] killed, families that are that are [01:34] broken in all kinds of different ways [01:36] that need help. There's a lot of PTSD [01:38] issues. There are young mothers whose [01:39] husbands have been called back to [01:41] reserve duty and are home with the kids [01:43] who can't go to school because schools [01:44] are closed. uh and there's a lot of [01:46] needs and Israel 365 as it's done many [01:49] times in the past as we have done many [01:51] times in the past uh has stepped up and [01:54] is and is uh and is finding you know the [01:56] right organizations to work with and the [01:58] right people you know to direct funds to [02:00] uh at this time. So go to [02:02] israel365charity.com. [02:04] Just spell it out as one word. Israel365 [02:06] chararity.com and click Israel under [02:08] fire. Israelis under fire up here. Or [02:10] you could scroll down uh to where it has [02:13] current projects and you can see some of [02:14] the other campaigns. But the first one [02:16] is Israel's at war is the Israel at war [02:19] campaign where we're helping these [02:20] families. So please go do that right now [02:23] and or or right after maybe you could [02:26] pause the video and do it or right after [02:27] you're done. Um but okay, here's the [02:30] event. [02:31] And I think again I think that it is it [02:34] is a mustwatch [02:35] >> everyone and thank you for joining us [02:37] for a very special press conference a [02:40] day after International Women's Day and [02:42] on the opening day of the Commission on [02:44] the Status of Women here at the UN. [02:48] After this stakeout at 11:30 a.m. Please [02:51] tune in to our official side event [02:54] called Speaking Up on Violations of [02:56] Women's Rights and Human Rights in Iran. [02:59] You can find the link to tune in on UN [03:02] TV. I'd now like to invite Israel's [03:05] ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, to [03:07] deliver a statement. [03:09] He will be joined by four incredible [03:11] women who will be speaking at our event [03:14] at 11:30 a.m. [03:17] We have Rahel Amiri who is a trained [03:20] psychologist from Kerman, Iran, who [03:22] participated in the woman life freedom [03:25] Zanzandi Azardi protests in 2022 to 2023 [03:30] and was shot in the eye by regime [03:31] forces. Dr. Nazi Moyan is an [03:35] accomplished Iran born fellow at the [03:38] Middle East institute and is an adviser [03:40] to insivan [03:44] Kipo Greenblat is an Iranian-American [03:46] analyst and human rights activist [03:48] specializing in women and minority [03:50] rights in Iran. And Shiva Amini is an [03:53] Iranian women's football player who [03:56] previously played for Iran's national [03:58] football team and fled her home country [04:01] for for Europe following harassment by [04:03] the Islamic Republic. I now like to [04:06] invite Ambassador Denon and our special [04:07] guests. [04:20] Good morning. [04:22] Today the UN opens the commission on the [04:25] status of women. This year International [04:28] Women's Day theme is rights, justice, [04:32] action for all women and girls. That [04:36] theme could not be more relevant. That [04:39] is why today we are hosting a CSW side [04:42] event to amplify the voices of Iranian [04:47] women. Women whose rights have been [04:50] denied and whose calls for justice have [04:53] been silenced. But today there is action [04:57] here at the UN. Israel is amplifying [05:00] their voices. And on the ground in Iran, [05:04] alongside the US and others, we are [05:06] confronting the very regime that [05:09] oppresses them. With me today stand some [05:13] of the brave lionesses of Iran, [05:16] survivors, activists, women who have [05:20] courageously spoken out against the [05:22] regime, often at a great personal cost. [05:27] Shiva Amini, Dr. Bonazi Munan, Marjan [05:31] Kaifur and Rael Amiri who lost an eye [05:35] after being shot by regime forces during [05:38] the women life freedom protests. [05:42] For 47 years, the regime in Thran has [05:46] wolves through fear and brutality. [05:48] Women beaten in the streets, arrested [05:52] for showing their hair, dragged into [05:55] prison for demanding basic freedoms. A [05:58] regime that rapes, tortures, and kills [06:01] women who dare to stand up. But Iranian [06:05] women do not surrender. They resist. [06:09] Just last week, the Iranian women's [06:12] national football team, the Lionesses, [06:15] refused to sing the regime's anthem [06:17] before a match in a silent protest [06:20] against the Iranian regime. They were [06:23] immediately branded traitors and [06:26] threatened on state television. [06:29] That is the regime we are dealing with. [06:32] A radical Islamist regime that spreads [06:35] violence across the region and wages [06:37] violence against its own women. To the [06:41] women of Iran, I say this. Your enemy is [06:45] our enemy. Stopping this regime is not [06:49] easy. Israelis are in and out of bomb [06:53] shelters. Our neighbors in the region [06:55] are under attack. But allowing this [06:58] regime to threaten the region and [07:00] continue it oppression is not an option. [07:04] So we will continue to target the [07:07] leadership of the regime and dismantle [07:09] its nuclear ballistic missile [07:11] capabilities. [07:13] As the machinery weakens, you mume the [07:18] people of Iran will have the opportunity [07:20] to shape your future with rights and [07:23] justice for women. [07:26] In the past 11 days, Iran has fired [07:28] missiles and drones across the region, [07:30] at Israel, at our neighbors, and at [07:33] civilian targets. The regime has [07:36] attacked more Arab countries in the past [07:39] 11 days than Israel has in its entire [07:43] existence. [07:45] This is not defense. This is aggression [07:48] aimed at destabilizing our region. That [07:52] is why we welcome the statement you [07:54] issued by the Gulf Cooperation Council [07:57] condemning the Iranian regime's attacks [07:59] on civilian targets and its violations [08:02] of international law. The Gulf countries [08:05] also called on the Security Council to [08:07] clearly condemn these attacks and demand [08:10] that Iran stop immediately. We agree. [08:14] The Security Council must act. It must [08:17] make clear that these attacks are [08:19] unacceptable and that Iran must stop and [08:22] surrender. [08:25] Let me be clear. Changing the men at the [08:28] top does not change the regime. It is [08:32] the same ideology, the same nuclear [08:34] ambitions, the same ballistic missiles, [08:38] the same terror proxies. For us, nothing [08:41] changed. My advice to Iran's new [08:45] leadership, look at what happened to [08:47] those who thought they could threaten [08:49] the US and Israel. [08:52] Israel remains committed to the [08:53] objectives of this joint operation to [08:56] dismantle the regime's nuclear ballistic [08:59] missile capabilities and weaken the [09:01] machinery that allow it to threaten the [09:03] region and oppress its own people. We [09:08] hope that soon the people of Iran will [09:11] have the opportunity to rise up and [09:13] share their own future. [09:16] Let us pray that by International [09:19] Women's Day 2027, [09:21] Iranian mothers, daughters, grandmothers [09:26] will stand here themselves speaking for [09:28] a new reality in Iran where women [09:31] finally finally have what they have been [09:34] denied for too long, rights and justice. [09:39] I want to thank the esteemed guests that [09:42] we have today and I invite you all to [09:44] join us at the event we will start [09:47] momentarily. [09:48] >> Thank you. [09:50] >> If you have any questions, make sure [09:52] they're directed to the ambassador. [09:53] >> Yes. [09:54] >> Yes. It's Pamela Faul from US News and [09:56] World Report to the ambassador. You [09:59] thought the Straight of Hormouth might [10:01] open up a little faster than it has. [10:03] It's virtually closed. When do you think [10:06] that might happen? And I know you said [10:09] not to ask the women, but we'd like to [10:11] hear from the women what they think of [10:13] the new appointment of a new supreme [10:15] leader. Is it more of the same and what [10:17] can happen next? Thank you. [10:20] >> So, regarding the spread of our muzz, as [10:23] I said few days ago, [10:26] we control the airspace in Iran. We are [10:29] hunting the launchers. We are degrading [10:31] the capabilities of the regime. So it's [10:34] going to be harder for them to attack [10:35] civilians in Dubai and to attack vessels [10:38] in the straight of Ramuz. It doesn't [10:39] mean it will be 100% guaranteed, but it [10:42] will be harder for them to do that. So [10:44] I'm optimistic about that. Every day we [10:46] see the numbers of attacks going down. [10:50] Regarding your question, you know, it's [10:51] up to them, not up to me if they want to [10:53] address it. [10:55] But you are welcome to join us, Pamela, [10:57] at the at the conference and we're going [10:59] to have time for questions and and [11:00] discussions. [11:03] Ambassador Arlam Masud the national. So [11:06] today the Lebanese ambassador, sorry, [11:08] Lebanese president said he's willing to [11:11] engage in direct talks with Israel. Is [11:14] Israel willing to engage in direct talks [11:16] or do you think Israel should finish its [11:19] military offensive first before? [11:22] >> We we are a peaceful nation. We believe [11:24] in diplomacy. But it takes more than [11:26] declarations. And I tell the Lebanese [11:28] leaders, take action against Fizbala. [11:31] Hisbala started to fire rockets into [11:34] Israel in order to show support for the [11:37] Iranian regime to the regime. They [11:39] wanted to avenge his death. So that's [11:41] not acceptable. If the if thebala will [11:44] be restrained, then we are open to [11:47] dialogue and we had a very good dialogue [11:49] with the Lebanese government before. [11:52] >> Thank you, Mr. Ambassador. My name is [11:54] Abdul Hamid. The first day of the [11:57] clashes, you your air force targeted a [12:00] school in southern Iran, killing 165 [12:04] young girls. So, how can we believe this [12:07] shedding crocodile tears about Iranian [12:09] women when you went and killed these [12:12] young girls? [12:13] >> So, I addressed this question that few [12:15] days ago. We looking into the incidents. [12:18] We do not believe that the Israeli Air [12:20] Force was involved in that incident. H [12:22] but we have to say it very clearly. We [12:24] do not target civilians. We target [12:27] military infrastructure. The Iranian [12:29] regime, they're doing exactly the [12:31] opposite. If civilians are being hurt, [12:33] we regret that when we say that. Same [12:36] goes for the US, but the Iranian, they [12:39] do exactly the opposite. They target [12:40] cities, they target airports, not only [12:43] in Israel, in 12 countries in the [12:45] region. [12:46] >> One more. [12:47] >> Um, thank you very much, Mr. Ambassador [12:50] Edith Fletter from the Associated Press. [12:54] Um the Israeli Defense Forces said after [13:00] the selection of um Supreme Leader [13:05] Comedy's son as the new Supreme Leader [13:09] that they would target him. [13:13] Does Israel support President Trump's [13:19] um demand that that the United States [13:25] should have a say in the selection of [13:31] the next leader or a new leader of Iran. [13:36] >> So there is no daylight between the US [13:38] and Israel. The new leader unfortunately [13:40] is more of the same. Same ideology, same [13:43] radical ideas. And if you know anyone [13:48] who will promote those radical ideas [13:50] against us, we will target them. We will [13:52] find them. I think it's for the people [13:54] of Iran to choose their next leadership. [13:56] We will have to create the conditions [13:58] for them. And that's what we are doing [13:59] now. But eventually, they will have to [14:02] stand up, rise up, and choose their own [14:04] leadership. Thank you very much. and I I [14:06] invite you all to join us at 11:30 at [14:09] CR9. Thank you very much. [14:16] Okay. [14:20] So now, why did I show that to you? [14:23] Well, first of all, the this issue has [14:26] to be talked about. The issue of the [14:28] treatment of women in Iran, the issue of [14:30] the treatment of uh of you know, of [14:33] women, it's been an issue for a very [14:34] long time. [14:36] Um, hold on a second. [14:41] Yeah, it's been an issue. It's been an [14:43] issue for uh, you know, for a for a very [14:45] very long time and and no one's ever no [14:49] one's ever done anything about it. And [14:52] now that we're fighting a war and the [14:55] world is, you know, looking at the war [14:57] and and at what point have we degraded [15:00] their missiles and and and what at what [15:02] point are we going to decide to stop? [15:04] And you notice that in Danny Dunon's [15:07] statement, [15:09] although ostensibly he was talking about [15:12] um he was talking about this issue of of [15:16] women's rights, he also brought up that [15:20] a regime change where only the top [15:23] leadership is removed [15:25] is not really going to be considered [15:27] regime change by the Israelis and it's [15:30] going to be insufficient. And that's so [15:32] significant because [15:35] because President Trump who's been [15:37] talking about this Venezuela model where [15:39] you just remove the top person like in [15:41] Venezuela where he just removed Maduro [15:44] and then kept the rest of the government [15:46] intact and and and is working with the [15:48] criminals at the top. And I've been [15:50] talking about this for a while now. [15:53] And the Israelis actually having the UN [15:56] ambassador stand up there and at the [15:58] same time as he's talking about the [15:59] immorality and the brutality of the [16:02] regime, the unacceptability of their of [16:06] their treatment of women, essentially [16:08] pointing a finger at the world and [16:09] saying you can't allow this regime to [16:11] remain. And in the same statement saying [16:14] we will not accept what I call fake fake [16:17] regime change. We're not going to accept [16:19] the Israelis are not going to accept a [16:20] regime change that where where you've [16:22] just removed the top people and left [16:24] everyone else intact because then that's [16:26] more of the same. In other words, the [16:28] Israeli goal of regime change and he [16:31] said it very clearly here. He he was [16:33] very clear in this statement that the [16:35] Israelis are their objective is regime [16:39] change [16:41] and a regime change that isn't real [16:43] regime change will be unacceptable. So, [16:46] we're now reaching that point very, very [16:48] quickly that I've been talking about for [16:50] a while that US interests and Israeli [16:53] interests are not identical. [16:55] And because they're not identical, [16:59] there can come a point very quickly and [17:01] it looks like we're hitting it now where [17:04] the Americans say, "We're satisfied. The [17:07] we're done. We've achieved our [17:09] objectives." And the Israelis say, "No, [17:11] no, no. Not even close. We're still in [17:13] this war." and then what happens? Um, so [17:16] that could be happening right around [17:18] this issue of regime change, but tying [17:20] it to the women's rights issue is [17:24] brilliant by by Ambassador Danny Danon, [17:27] by the Israelis because they what it [17:30] means is that they're making a point [17:32] that has nothing to do with Israeli [17:33] security. [17:35] They're saying there's a moral issue [17:36] here and the whole world should be [17:38] should should find this regime [17:40] unacceptable. And if you're and if you [17:43] stand up and start advocating [17:46] for an end to this with the regime still [17:48] intact, you are complicit in the [17:52] oppression of women. That's the [17:54] messaging here. And and that's a case [17:56] that needs to be made. And this and [17:58] that's why I wanted to make sure that I [18:00] touched on this issue and I and and I [18:02] and I showed this to you so that you can [18:06] you can talk to people about this [18:09] because this is this doesn't get talked [18:11] about enough because you you know we're [18:13] all wrapped up in the ballistic missiles [18:14] and the nuclear and the security issues [18:15] and you know the geopolitics of it all [18:18] and we have to keep our focus that there [18:22] is evil here and we need you know it is [18:25] our obligation. It is our moral [18:28] obligation as people who are good to [18:30] defeat and destroy evil to bring it to [18:32] its knees. And I elaborated on this in [18:35] the video that I just released uh [18:37] earlier which was um you know I did that [18:40] hit on Fox News last night and um and I [18:44] talked about this. I talked about the [18:46] issue of uh of bring of h how of the [18:49] importance of of of victory, the [18:52] importance of defeating evil. uh and [18:54] that we need to keep that in focus at [18:56] this time. Anyway, that's what I wanted [18:57] to share with you. Thank you so much for [19:00] watching and uh and please keep helping [19:03] grow the channel. I'm really [19:04] appreciative of all the viewers and and [19:06] all the subscribers and everyone who's [19:08] been sharing. Um and uh you know, the [19:11] channel's grown, you know, you know, [19:12] quicker than I could ever have imagined. [19:14] It really shows that there's a lot of uh [19:16] you know, that gives me a lot of [19:18] encouragement to keep doing what I'm [19:19] doing. So, thank you very much for [19:21] watching. Keep sharing, keep liking, [19:23] keep telling everyone what we're up to [19:24] on this channel. Thank you. God bless.
