Transcript [00:00] War. War is on with Iran. War is on. You [00:03] know that already. And we've been [00:04] talking about it on this channel for [00:06] weeks about what to anticipate, what to [00:08] look for in the days ahead. And [00:11] President Trump made a statement at the [00:13] very beginning of this earlier today. [00:15] Earlier today, Israel time, late at [00:17] night in America. By the time this video [00:20] gets out, you know, the headlines that [00:23] we're seeing right now are probably [00:24] going to be obsolete. But President [00:26] Trump's remarks at the beginning of this [00:29] uh military action reveal a lot about [00:32] some of the things we've been discussing [00:34] in past days about uh about what's going [00:38] to happen in this war. So it gives us [00:40] some indication of where things are [00:41] going and what the objectives are. So [00:44] let's take a look at President Trump's [00:46] remarks at the start of this war with [00:49] Iran. Here we go. [00:52] A short time ago, the United States [00:55] military began major combat operations [00:59] in Iran. [01:01] Our objective is to defend the American [01:04] people by eliminating eminent threats [01:07] from the Iranian regime, a vicious group [01:11] of very hard, terrible people. [01:16] Its menacing activities directly [01:18] endanger the United States, our troops, [01:20] our bases overseas, and our allies [01:23] throughout the world. For 47 years, the [01:26] Iranian regime has chanted death to [01:29] America and waged an unending campaign [01:32] of bloodshed and mass murder, targeting [01:36] the United States, our troops, and the [01:38] innocent people in many, many countries. [01:41] Among the regime's very first acts was [01:44] to back a violent takeover of the US [01:46] embassy in Thran, holding dozens of [01:50] American hostages for 444 days. In 1983, [01:55] Iran's proxies carried out the Marine [01:59] Barracks bombing in Beirut that killed [02:01] 241 American military personnel. [02:05] In 2000, they knew and were probably [02:07] involved with the attack on the USS [02:10] Cole. Many died. [02:13] Iranian forces killed and maimed [02:16] hundreds of American service members in [02:18] Iraq. The regime's proxies have [02:20] continued to launch countless attacks [02:22] against American forces stationed in the [02:25] Middle East in recent years, as well as [02:28] US naval and commercial vessels in [02:30] international shipping lands. It's been [02:34] mass terror and we're not going to put [02:36] up with it any longer. From Lebanon to [02:40] Yemen and Syria to Iraq, the regime has [02:43] armed, trained, and funded terrorist [02:46] militias that have [clears throat] [02:48] soaked the earth with blood and guts. [02:51] And it was Iran's proxy Hamas that [02:54] launched the monstrous October 7th [02:57] attacks on Israel, slaughtering more [03:00] than 1,000 innocent people, including 46 [03:03] Americans, while taking 12 of our [03:06] citizens hostage. It was brutal, [03:10] something like the world has never seen [03:12] before. [03:13] Iran is the world's number one state [03:16] sponsor of terror and just recently [03:19] killed tens of thousands of its own [03:21] citizens on the street as they [03:23] protested. It has always been the policy [03:25] of the United States, in particular, my [03:29] administration, that this terrorist [03:31] regime can never have a nuclear weapon. [03:34] I'll say it again. They can never have a [03:38] nuclear weapon. [03:40] That is why in operation midnight hammer [03:43] last June we obliterated the regime's [03:46] nuclear program at Ford Natans and [03:51] Isvahan. [03:52] After that attack we warned them never [03:55] to resume their malicious pursuit of [03:57] nuclear weapons and we sought repeatedly [04:01] to make a deal. We tried. They wanted to [04:05] do it. They didn't want to do it again. [04:08] They wanted to do it. They didn't want [04:09] to do it. They didn't know what was [04:11] happening. They just wanted to practice [04:13] evil. But Iran refused just as it has [04:18] for decades and decades. [04:20] They've rejected every opportunity to [04:22] renounce their nuclear ambitions [04:26] and we can't take it anymore. Now, until [04:29] this point in the speech, what what he's [04:31] done is laid out the case that Iran is [04:33] an enemy of the United States, going all [04:35] the way back to the beginning of the [04:36] regime and talking about all the various [04:38] ways that they've attacked Americans and [04:41] American allies and then talking about [04:45] the nuclear program. That's what he's [04:46] done up until now. Watch what happens [04:48] next, though. He's going to bring up a [04:50] number of other issues that are very [04:52] important. Instead, they attempted to [04:55] rebuild their nuclear program and to [04:58] continue developing long range missiles [05:01] that can now threaten our very good [05:04] friends and allies in Europe, our troops [05:07] stationed overseas and could soon reach [05:10] the American homeland. [05:13] Just imagine how emboldened this regime [05:15] would be if they ever had and actually [05:18] were armed with nuclear weapons as a [05:21] means to deliver their message. For [05:24] these reasons, the So he he just talked [05:27] about the ballistic missile threat. And [05:30] that's so important in light of what [05:31] we've seen over the last few weeks where [05:33] the Iranians were even saying that in [05:35] the negotiations they refused to discuss [05:37] it and the Americans [05:39] kept bringing it up. Originally, at the [05:42] beginning of the negotiations, I pointed [05:44] this out, Trump was bringing up the [05:46] nuclear and making it about the nuclear [05:49] and even the media had been had been [05:52] talking about the negotiations as [05:53] nuclear talks, but the ballistic missile [05:56] threat is a very serious threat and it [06:00] was part of the threat to America and [06:02] American allies. Very interesting that [06:03] he brought it up here. Very important. [06:05] United States military is undertaking a [06:08] massive and ongoing operation to prevent [06:11] this very wicked radical dictatorship [06:14] from threatening America and our core [06:17] national security interests. We are [06:20] going to destroy their missiles and [06:22] raise their missile industry to the [06:25] ground. It will be totally again [06:28] obliterated. We are going to annihilate [06:31] their navy. We are going to ensure that [06:34] the region's terrorist proxies can no [06:37] longer destabilize the region or the [06:39] world and attack our forces and no [06:41] longer use their IEDs or roadside bombs [06:46] as they are sometimes called to so [06:48] gravely wound and kill thousands and [06:51] thousands of people including many [06:54] Americans. And we will ensure that Iran [06:57] does not obtain a nuclear weapon. [07:00] >> Right. So there's the nuclear weapons, [07:02] there's the ballistic missiles, and [07:04] there's the funding of the proxies. [07:05] Those were three of the issues of the [07:08] four issues that Secretary of State [07:10] Rubio kept repeating and were reported [07:13] as the issues of that uh America was [07:16] concerned with. The fourth one is the [07:18] treatment of their own people. That's [07:19] coming soon. [07:21] >> It's a very simple message. They will [07:24] never have a nuclear weapon. This regime [07:27] will soon learn that no one should [07:30] challenge the strength and might of the [07:32] United States armed forces. I built and [07:35] rebuilt our military in my first [07:38] administration [clears throat] and there [07:40] is no military on earth even close to [07:42] its power, strength or sophistication. [07:46] My administration has taken every [07:48] possible step to minimize the risk to US [07:52] personnel in the region. Even so, and I [07:55] do not make this statement lightly, the [07:58] Iranian regime seeks to kill. The lives [08:02] of courageous American heroes may be [08:04] lost, and we may have casualties. [08:07] That often happens in war, but we're [08:10] doing this not for now. We're doing this [08:12] for the future. And it is a noble [08:15] mission. [08:17] >> That was huge. Okay, that was massive [08:22] because we saw I I brought this up in an [08:23] earlier video that there was a poll [08:25] commissioned by Breitbart just uh very [08:28] recently, last month, January, [08:31] that showed that while there's [08:33] widespread support for bringing down the [08:35] regime in Iran, especially among [08:37] Republicans, there is no support for any [08:40] military action by the United States [08:42] that will bring any US casualties. So [08:44] here Trump is saying [08:46] we're doing this even though we know or [08:49] it's likely that there will be US [08:51] casualties. He's he's preparing the [08:54] American people for the fact that he's [08:55] willing to absorb some US casualties. [08:57] This is not something we have heard from [08:59] him or from anyone in the administration [09:01] up until this point. So I think that's a [09:04] that's massive. [09:07] We pray for every service member as they [09:09] selflessly risk their lives to ensure [09:12] that Americans and our children will [09:14] never be threatened by a nuclear armed [09:17] Iran. We ask God to protect all of our [09:20] heroes in harm's way. And we trust that [09:23] with his help, the men and women of the [09:26] armed forces will prevail. We have the [09:29] greatest in the world and they will [09:31] prevail. To the members of the Islamic [09:34] Revolutionary Guard, the armed forces [09:37] and all of the police, I say tonight [09:40] that you must lay down your weapons and [09:43] have complete immunity or in the [09:45] alternative face certain death. So lay [09:50] down your arms, you will be treated [09:52] fairly with total immunity or you will [09:56] face certain death. very interesting [09:59] psychological warfare, but also trying [10:02] to get defections. If you get people who [10:04] are refusing orders, deserting um the [10:08] armed forces, the IRGC, that could [10:11] that's really the the an important [10:14] ingredient in bringing down the regime, [10:16] which he's pivoting to talking about [10:18] right now. [10:19] >> Finally, to the great proud people of [10:21] Iran, I say tonight that the hour of [10:24] your freedom is at hand. Stay sheltered. [10:27] Don't leave your home. It's very [10:29] dangerous outside. Bombs will be [10:31] dropping everywhere. When we are [10:34] finished, take over your government. It [10:36] will be yours to take. This will be [10:39] probably your only chance for [10:42] generations. For many years, you have [10:44] asked for America's help, but you never [10:47] got it. No president was willing to do [10:50] what I am willing to do tonight. Now, [10:52] you have a president who is giving you [10:54] what you want. So, let's see how you [10:57] respond. America is backing you with [11:00] overwhelming strength and devastating [11:02] force. Now is the time to seize control [11:05] of your destiny and to unleash the [11:08] prosperous and glorious future that is [11:11] close within your reach. This is the [11:14] moment for action. [11:29] >> Okay, that call for regime change there [11:32] was very interesting because it wasn't [11:35] saying we are going to change the [11:36] regime. People who talk about this as a [11:38] regime change war. The United States is [11:41] not going to take any active steps to [11:45] change the regime. They are bombing. [11:47] This what we talked about. They can [11:49] create the conditions for regime change. [11:50] And there you see Trump basically saying [11:53] it to the people. Look, this is your [11:55] shot. We're not going to remove the [11:58] regime for you. We can't. It's up to [12:00] you. You have to seize control of your [12:04] country. Calling on the Iranian people [12:05] to get together. Prime Minister [12:06] Netanyahu made a similar statement uh [12:09] earlier today, calling on unity among [12:11] the Iranian people because you have [12:13] different ethnic factions there, calling [12:14] on them to rise up and uh and bring down [12:18] the regime themselves. the Mossad has [12:21] been putting out more messages to the [12:23] Iranian people, inviting them on [12:25] Telegram to get in touch with them and [12:27] and encouraging them encouraging the [12:30] Iranian people to rise up. It really is [12:32] up to the Iranian people to show the [12:33] courage at this moment to seize their [12:36] seize their government while it's [12:37] teetering. It is up to them. As I've [12:40] been saying for weeks now, you can't [12:41] bomb the regime out of existence, but [12:43] you can create the conditions that make [12:45] it easier for the easier for the people [12:47] to rise up. And as important as the [12:50] people rising up as it were, there's [12:52] also what Trump mentioned right before [12:54] that, which is desertions from the [12:57] military are going to be necessary [12:59] because once that starts happening, if [13:01] it starts if you start to get a momentum [13:03] and a wave of people laying down of [13:06] people in the IRGC and in the armed [13:08] forces laying down their weapons or [13:10] fleeing, taking off their uniforms, [13:12] switching sides, then that's the real [13:15] sign to look for that the regime is [13:17] falling. Okay, that's that's a key. [13:19] That's a that's a critical key. So, [13:20] that's in the days to come. Let's keep [13:22] an eye out for that. All right, thanks [13:25] for watching. [13:48] God is in control and we put our faith [13:50] in him. So, if you're looking for what [13:52] to pray at this at this moment, I think [13:54] it's uh very important to pray Psalm 83 [14:00] Psalm 83. Uh that's a psalm about war [14:03] and about victory over over enemies and [14:06] and about [14:08] [cough] [14:08] [clears throat] I mean about how the [14:10] purpose of war is ultimately to bring [14:11] about uh the vanquishing of evil and uh [14:14] God's kingdom on earth.
