Transcript [00:00] about those things you've spoken about, [00:01] the graciousness, the hospitality, the [00:03] kindness before they commented on it [00:05] from afar because I think it's an [00:06] experience which once you've had changes [00:09] your perception. [00:09] >> I strongly agree with that and I've [00:11] taken a lot of abuse in my country for [00:14] saying things like that out loud. I'm [00:16] for whatever it's worth a pretty fervent [00:18] Christian and I feel uh completely [00:21] comfortable here in the in the seat of [00:23] Islam. Not be right. It's a And why is [00:26] that? So Tucker Carlson is in Saudi [00:29] Arabia. He's speaking at a conference [00:31] called the Real Estate Future Conference [00:34] or something like that sponsored by the [00:36] Saudi government. And sitting there on [00:38] stage in Saudi Arabia, he made some [00:41] comments about how comfortable he feels [00:44] being a Christian visiting Saudi Arabia. [00:47] Let's have a look at what Tucker had to [00:49] say here. [00:49] >> Not just a client of some other country. [00:51] So it's good. Wouldn't it be wonderful [00:52] if people had some ideas about those [00:55] things you've spoken about, the [00:56] graciousness, the hospitality, the [00:58] kindness before they commented on it [01:00] from afar? Because I think it's an [01:02] experience which once you've had changes [01:04] your perception. [01:05] >> I strongly agree with that and I've [01:06] taken a lot of abuse in my country for [01:09] saying things like that out loud. I'm [01:11] for whatever it's worth a pretty fervent [01:13] Christian and I feel uh completely [01:16] comfortable here in the in the seat of [01:18] Islam. Not be right. It's a and why is [01:21] that? And just just saying that is a [01:23] threat somehow um to some people who are [01:26] propagandists and liars and um but it's [01:29] true. So I'm going to say it. And [01:31] moreover, I think it points up like [01:33] something that's really important about [01:34] life, which is it's worth meeting people [01:37] and seeing things before you try to [01:39] assess them. [01:40] >> Oh, that's a great life lesson. I wish [01:42] >> I try not to talk about anything I [01:44] haven't smelled. And um and I mean that [01:47] and including people like how do you [01:49] really know you're what you're doing is [01:50] you are taking other people's word for [01:53] something [01:54] >> which if it's say your wife or your [01:56] children or someone you love is okay but [01:58] if it's like a propagandist you've never [02:00] met who's trying to convince you to do [02:01] something against your own interest [02:02] maybe you should not take the his word [02:04] for it. [02:05] >> So there's Tucker Carlson telling us [02:07] that he does not talk about anything [02:09] that he hasn't smelled. But more [02:12] importantly, he says that he he's a [02:14] pretty fervent Christian and feels [02:15] totally comfortable in the seat of [02:18] Islam. Now, there's only one problem [02:20] with that. You see, the seat of Islam, [02:22] Saudi Arabia, is listed on the Open [02:26] Doors International [02:29] um list of countries with the worst [02:32] persecution of Christians. You see, Open [02:34] Doors International is a Christian [02:35] organization, and they come out with a [02:38] list every year called the World Watch [02:40] List, which displays the 50 worst [02:43] countries in the world to be a [02:46] Christian. And they rank them by level [02:47] of persecution. And of those 50 [02:49] countries, there are only 15 that are [02:53] listed in the most extreme category, [02:56] most extreme persecution, right? The [02:58] worst is North Korea. And then uh in the [03:02] top 15 we have listed at number 13 Saudi [03:06] Arabia. Imagine that. The seat of Islam [03:10] where Tucker Carlson feels so [03:12] comfortable is listed as the 13th worst [03:16] place in the world to be a Christian. [03:18] Now let's get into some of the details [03:20] in this um in this uh in this report [03:24] here. Okay. So [03:27] first of all we could ask Tucker a [03:28] question. Where did you go to church on [03:30] Sunday when you were visiting Saudi [03:31] Arabia? Oh, that's right. You didn't go [03:34] to church. You know why? Because [03:35] churches are illegal in Saudi Arabia. No [03:38] church buildings, no public worship, no [03:42] baptisms, no Christian weddings [03:44] recognized by law. Saudi Arabia is one [03:47] of the last countries on earth where [03:50] churches are still outright banned. But [03:53] hey, why worry about worship when there [03:56] are conference chairs that are very [03:57] comfortable and you're treated very [03:59] well, very comfortable in the seat of [04:00] Islam. Now, the problem here is that [04:03] this is 2025. [04:05] And in 2025, well, this is 2026, sorry. [04:09] The problem is that in 2025, just this [04:12] past year, Saudi Saudi authorities among [04:15] other things, shut down a house church, [04:17] interrogated the attendees, then [04:19] deported them one by one. Some of them [04:22] were explicitly told that the reason for [04:24] the expulsion was, wait for it, [04:27] Christianity. Now, another detail that [04:29] Tucker somehow forgot to mention is [04:31] this. If you are a Saudi citizen and you [04:35] convert from Islam to Christianity, the [04:38] law still prescribes the death penalty [04:41] for apostasy. Now, they don't carry it [04:44] out all that often, but the threat alone [04:47] does the job. You see, Tucker, you felt [04:49] safe because you're not a Saudi [04:52] Christian. Saudi Christians, especially [04:54] converts, cannot live openly as [04:57] Christian. They cannot talk about their [04:58] faith. They cannot share it with their [05:00] co-workers. They can't even tell their [05:03] families. They live as secret believers [05:07] under surveillance if found out because [05:09] they can be subject to beatings, [05:12] imprisonment, or worse. But again, [05:14] Tucker Carlson didn't notice any of this [05:16] because, you know, he felt so [05:18] comfortable. Funny how that works. Now, [05:20] let's talk about Christian women in [05:22] Saudi Arabia, will we? Female converts. [05:25] Meaning, if a Muslim woman converts to [05:27] Christianity, she will be forced to [05:30] marry a Muslim man. She could be placed [05:32] under house arrest. She will lose [05:35] custody of her children. That's right. [05:37] Christian parents, if they're found out [05:39] and they have children, their children [05:42] will be taken away from them in Saudi [05:44] Arabia. [05:46] Saudi women who convert to Christianity [05:49] are subject to physical and sexual [05:51] violence and there's honor killings. [05:54] They're often killed by their own family [05:56] members. Thousands of Christian migrant [05:59] worker women working as domestic [06:02] servants are abused under the kafala [06:04] system which is a type of slavery with [06:07] virtually no legal protection. But yes, [06:09] Tucker, please tell us more about how [06:12] comfortable you felt at the real estate [06:14] conference. [06:16] Christian parents in Saudi Arabia, let [06:18] me say this again, they're not allowed [06:20] to raise their own children as [06:21] Christians. The kids are forced into [06:23] Islamic instruction. Christian marriages [06:25] aren't recognized. Christian testimony [06:28] is not paid attention to in court. Now, [06:32] here's the part where people say, "Yeah, [06:33] but Saudi Arabia is changing. It's [06:35] reforming." Open Doors in their report [06:38] addresses that directly. Saudi Arabia, [06:41] which markets itself as a reform-minded [06:44] pro-Western Muslim country. In that [06:47] country, according to Open Doors, in the [06:49] last years, persecution, meaning in the [06:52] last two years, persecution scores have [06:54] increased. Meaning the persecution has [06:56] got wor has gotten worse. Pressure on [06:59] Christians remains extreme across every [07:02] aspect of life. But this is what the PR [07:06] apparatus looks like. You invite [07:07] American celebrities. They smile for the [07:09] cameras. And they keep on repressing the [07:12] infidels. So no, Tucker. Saudi Arabia is [07:15] not comfortable for Christians. It's a [07:17] place where faith is hidden, worship is [07:20] criminalized, women are brutalized, and [07:23] churches are banned. That is not [07:26] Christianity thriving. [07:29] Okay? That's Christianity barely [07:32] surviving and in silence and fear. And [07:35] Christians deserve better than being [07:37] erased by some talking head like [07:40] yourself for the sake of a talking point [07:43] for whoever is paying your bills. So no, [07:46] Tucker Carlson, Saudi Arabia is not a [07:50] comfortable place for Christians.
